Sharon Yvonne Stone is the only daughter from Dorothy Lawson (an accountant) and Joseph William Stone II, a tool-and-die manufacturer and former employee in a manufacturing plant. Sharon was born on 10 March 1958, at Meadville Pennsylvania. Michael, Kelly, Patrick and Dorothy Lawson are her siblings. Stone was thought to be exceptionally gifted in her academics when she entered in the second grade at age five. Saegertown Senior High School in Saegertown Pennsylvania is where she earned her diploma in 1975. The Miss Pennsylvania beauty competition saw Stone take home Miss Crawford County. Stone relocated to New Jersey with her aunt in 1977 to explore a modeling career. She did so after signing at the Ford Modeling Agency within a month. Stone soon moved to Europe and spent a full year with her aunt in Milan as well as Paris. Stone but was dissatisfied with Europe in the modeling industry and opted to go to acting. Woody Allen starred in "Stardust Memories", which was a mixed-review film, at age 20.
